FiiO has put on sale a new amplifier and Bluetooth receiver called BTR3 designed for users looking for a portable and compact device with which to provide wireless connectivity to their current headphones with cable or a desktop computer such as a portable speaker or mini-stereo. BTR3 incorporates a USB port that allows it to be used as an external sound card for a PC, taking advantage of its AK4376A DAC and its headphone amplification capabilities. In fact, it offers 33 watts with models of 16 Ohms and 25 watts with 32 Ohms headphones. It is compatible with the LDAC Bluetooth codecs and the high resolution aptX HD thanks to the Qualcomm CR8675 chip that also offers greater signal range with respect to conventional Bluetooth equipment, reaching up to 30 meters. Its 3,000 mAh battery offers up to 11 hours of autonomy allowing the device to be used as a hands-free thanks to the integrated microphone and also supporting NFC technology for quick pairing with a single touch.
