For seven years, former Playboy model and reality TV star Holly Madison was Playboy creator Hugh Heffner's girlfriend. He was 76 years old at the time and Madison was one of seven of his girlfriends. The now married mother of two children has written a book about her time with "Heff" and she paints a dark picture of the legendary ladies' man. “I did actually like him. He comes off as a nice guy and I wanted to believe that about him and of course I was attracted to the lifestyle. But I got myself in way too deep and lost myself,” said Madison. While the world may see Heffner as the ultimate lover, Madison says the truth is far from it. "He offered me quaaludes on the first night out. They used to call them 'thigh openers.' I saw him offer them to girls every night out," said Madison. Intimacy wasn't enjoyable including on their first night together. "I was heavily intoxicated that night. It wasn't what I wanted the relationship to be like," said Madison. Heffner, according to Madison, is a chauvinist. "We weren't allowed to have jobs or fraternize with the staff. We were expected to go out with him every Wednesday and Friday," said Madison. The women living in the mansion saw their life with Heffner as a "great opportunity." Heffner fired back after the release of Madison's book: “There are a few who have chosen to rewrite history in an attempt to stay in the spotlight," said Heffner. But Madison says everything in her book is true and she wrote it because she's never told her side of the story. "Now that I have hindsight, I saw that he was a manipulator," aid Madison.
